All-in-one benchtop system for oil condition monitoring. Measures oil condition parameters, viscosity, and optical particle count in a single analysis cycle — and can be supplemented with elemental analysis for quantified wear metal data. Pre-configured from a library of over 100 validated oil formulations covering all major applications. Lightweight and easily transported, the BenchPRO is equally at home in the laboratory and in the field with application engineers.
The BenchPRO is available as a standalone oil condition monitor, and as a combined system with integrated elemental analysis — covering chemical composition, viscosity, particulate contamination, and wear metals in a single platform. Compact and lightweight at 15 kg, it is designed to be easily moved between assets, workshops, and field locations by application engineers.
Mains powered and operated via integrated touchscreen GUI or laptop. The BenchPRO auto-pumps fluid from a 100 ml sample bottle through the measurement cell — no manual handling required. Measures oil condition parameters, viscosity, and optical particle count simultaneously. Pre-configured from Spectrolytic's library of over 100 validated oil formulations, it arrives ready for your specific oils. Can be supplemented with the BenchPRO + Elemental module for wear metal analysis. At 15 kg it is easily carried between locations, making it ideal for field application engineers and service teams.
The BenchPRO + Elemental adds a compact Rotating Disc Electrode Optical Emission Spectrometer (RDE-OES) to the standard platform. A single sample session delivers the full OCM profile alongside quantified concentration data on 24 wear metals and contaminants — all managed through a single unified software platform. Compliant with ASTM D6595 and ASTM D6728.
The BenchPRO integrates MIR spectroscopy, viscosity measurement, and particle analysis into a single compact instrument weighing just 15 kg. No reagents, no warm-up, no specialist operator training required — straightforward enough for application engineers and service teams to operate in the field.
Spectrolytic has developed a comprehensive oil library of over 100 pre-validated formulations spanning all major application categories. The system is customised for the customer's specific oils prior to delivery — no on-site calibration required.
The library covers engine, gear, hydraulic, turbomachinery, marine, and dielectric oils — including Group I–IV mineral oils, PAOs, PAGs, phosphate esters, and polyolesters. Additional oils can be added by the customer at any time.
No sample preparation, no reagents, no specialist skills required. The BenchPRO is designed for minimal operator training — ideal for field application engineers and in-house maintenance teams alike.
Take a routine oil sample from the asset using standard sampling equipment. A 100 ml sample bottle is sufficient.
Place the sample bottle on the inlet port. The BenchPRO auto-pumps the fluid through the measurement cell — no manual handling required.
Start from the touchscreen or software. All parameters are measured simultaneously and the full analysis completes in approximately 8 minutes.
Results display on screen and save automatically. Export to DataInspectIR®, your CMMS, or generate a printed report immediately.
BenchPRO results feed directly into DataInspectIR® for trending, alerting, and reporting — or export to your existing LIMS or CMMS system.
Full charting, plotting, trend analysis, and sample history management. Runs on the integrated touchscreen or any Windows laptop connected to the instrument.
Optional integrated modem for automatic upload to DataInspectIR®. Trend analysis, configurable alerts, and fleet-wide reporting alongside inline unit data.
Export results in standard formats (CSV, PDF report) for direct import into your laboratory information management or computerised maintenance management system.
Configurable report templates with condition status, trend charts, and maintenance recommendations — ready to share with asset owners immediately after analysis.
The RDE-OES elemental analyser measures 24 elements in approximately 5 minutes per sample, fully compliant with ASTM D6595 and ASTM D6728 — the same standards used by independent oil analysis laboratories.
Elements measured: Fe, Cu, Pb, Sn, Cr, Al, Ni, Mo, Ag, Ti, V, Mn, Si, Na, K, Ca, Mg, Ba, P, Zn, B and more — each 0–1000 ppm range.
