Pre-configured from Spectrolytic's library of over 100 validated oil formulations, it arrives ready for your specific oils. Can be supplemented with the BenchPRO + Elemental module for wear metal analysis. At 15 kg it is easily carried between locations, making it ideal for field application engineers and service teams.

Workflow

From sample to result in around 8 minutes

No sample preparation, no reagents, no specialist skills required. The BenchPRO is designed for minimal operator training — ideal for field application engineers and in-house maintenance teams alike.

Collect sample

Take a routine oil sample from the asset using standard sampling equipment. A 100 ml sample bottle is sufficient.

Load the instrument

Place the sample bottle on the inlet port. The BenchPRO auto-pumps the fluid through the measurement cell — no manual handling required.

Run analysis

Start from the touchscreen or software. All parameters are measured simultaneously and the full analysis completes in approximately 8 minutes.

Act on the data

Results display on screen and save automatically. Export to DataInspectIR®, your CMMS, or generate a printed report immediately.

Elemental analysis — ASTM compliance

The RDE-OES elemental analyser measures 24 elements in approximately 5 minutes per sample, fully compliant with ASTM D6595 and ASTM D6728 — the same standards used by independent oil analysis laboratories.

Elements measured: Fe, Cu, Pb, Sn, Cr, Al, Ni, Mo, Ag, Ti, V, Mn, Si, Na, K, Ca, Mg, Ba, P, Zn, B and more — each 0–1000 ppm range.
